Hi, I’m Brittany
I have always had a passion for helping others.
I studied massage therapy at Miller-Motte College in Cary, North Carolina, where I was named to the President’s List each semester. I completed a program of over 900 hours, happily graduated in December 2012 with a Diploma in Massage Therapy and passed the Board exam shortly after, receiving my title of LMBT #12823.
I specialize in therapeutic massage and am trained in Julstro Muscular Therapy – a technique combining applied trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and acupressure. I am also certified in massage cupping. Your every session is uniquely designed to your specific goals and health history. My years of working with chiropractors, acupuncturists, and PTs help me understand each individual’s situation. I have helped clients from a variety of backgrounds: IT professionals, athletes, parents, children, seniors, and healthcare professionals. I aim to teach all my clients to help themselves and offers guidance on stretching, strengthening, and self-massage.
Before I became a licensed massage therapist, I worked for six years in pediatric hematology research at Duke University Medical Center. I’m mostly known for my giggles and curly hair. If you don’t see me at the studio, I’m likely reading, not far from a yoga mat, or at the barre!
