My friend & podcast producer Leah Bryant recommended doing a podcast recap & I'm very here for this! So... Here's what happened that's podcast-related in the month of January.
Before I get too far into the details, I want to give a HUGE shout out to Mickey Lozano—without her, this podcast wouldn’t have cover art or any audios! Thank you SO much for helping me get this project out into the world. I’m eternally grateful. ❤️
✨ THE BASIC B PODCAST LAUNCHED!
January 24, 2024 was the official podcast launch day for The Basic B Podcast. And where was I? Somewhere on I-95.
I had a family emergency come up but I was NOT about to delay this podcast launch! So many of you shared your excitement for the show. And so—it went on.
I debated whether or not to play the podcast episodes on my drive, but boy am I glad I did! In my mad dash to inform my clients of project delays, pack my suitcase, & arrange all the life things—I uploaded the wrong episode. 😂
You gotta laugh about it! It was comical—me, stopped at a gas station desperately trying to get the Buzzsprout password to Mickey Lozano so she could go in and unpublish, upload, & publish the correct episode audio file. Hah!
Let's just say—I'm grateful to have other people on this journey with me!
