My Top 5 Self-Care Tools..

STILL HOME?

I hear you! I am too.

And this post is designed with you in mind! (Well, they all are, but this one is special.)

Here are some tools of my trade that you can use at home!

Looking to smooth out movement (or cellulite)?

Try massage cups. They may look intimidating, but they are my favorite at-home self-care tool. They’re easy to use and provide such relief!

Sitting a lot during the day?

Use this foam roller on your back and quads.
I prefer to use a smaller, smooth foam roller because it is easier to transport and store. The foam roller is - in my opinion - a tool to be used for larger areas for a more general muscle release.

Suffering from headaches (for any number of reasons)?

Pin point the problem with tennis or lacrosse balls. The Rad Balls are a great option. They offer different sizes and trainings are available online for best practices when using them.

Tired? Not sleeping well?

Magnesium works for me, but don’t just take my word for it. Read The Magnesium Miracle - a doctor wrote it!
This is an easy read that’s packed with helpful information.
You’ll read about magnesium’s positive effect on tight muscles, depression and anxiety, as well as restless leg syndrome and headaches.

Looking for the big guns?

Literally.
Handheld massage guns have become pretty popular. Many clients have asked what I recommend for a massage gun tool. This is it. I have been able to use it when my clients bring theirs in.

BONUS!

I recently talked about how much I love using my dry brush, and here she is!
This is a fantastic tool to use - morning or night, once or a couple times a day, however frequent during the week - why?

Dry brushing does several things for you:

encourages lymph flow - brush in an upward motion - from the feet toward the neck. The lymph system is similar to the circulatory system, but it doesn’t have a pump (like the heart) to move the fluid.
sloughs off dead skin cells - come on, need I say more?!
generally just wakes everything up - circulation is increased, your brain and body can talk better, signals can flow better.
