How do SEO and social media marketing work together?
Back in December, 2021 Clubhouse was a brand new social media platform. It’s the place I first took an interest in SEO & all things organic marketing. It’s also the place where I met Marcia Narine Weldon.
I’ll be honest—I was intimidated by her at first. I mean, she’s well-traveled, incredibly intelligent, oh—and she’s an attorney. 😂
But the more I got to know her by attending our favorite show (every morning at 7 a.m.), the more I saw how much we had in common.
Here’s a short list:
We’re both into “woo” (think: Akashic records readings, astrology, etc.)
Exploring different cultures (Marcia travels & I connect over conversations with people)
Learning & staying curious!
That curiosity is what sparked both our podcasts!
Marcia invited Crystal & I to do our first joint podcast interview & it was such a fun experience!
The topic we landed on was:
Boosting your personal & professional brand visibility using SEO & social media marketing
We covered SO much in this episode!
These are some of the interview highlights:
1. The Power of Social Media:
Social media plays a pivotal role in building your brand. Learn how to side step common mistakes we see & build a digital presence that engages a loyal audience.
2. The Secrets of SEO:
SEO (search engine optimization) is how you show up as the answer to a Googled question. It is a well-known organic marketing strategy that drives warm traffic to your site & boosts your visibility online. Learn how to make this tool an intuitive one for your biz.
3. The Magic of Instagram:
With so many options on the platform it can be helpful to know which to take advantage of & which might not be the best use of your time. Learn how to naturally weave in keywords into your content so you start attracting ideal clients with less “work.”
4. How to Make Every Website Page Count:
You’ve heard me say it, but I’ll say it again (note: we talked about the importance of being repetitive too 😉)—each web page is an opportunity to rank on Google. Each page needs a job. Learn how to discover the right keywords to use in your messaging.
5. Pinterest & LinkedIn:
These two sites are not to be ignored! Each platform serves a unique purpose in your marketing plan. Listen to these episodes from The Simple & Smart SEO Show to take these lessons to the next level! ⤵️
6. AI Copywriting Tools:
It seems that AI is here to stay, and while I am not the AI-savvy one in the building, Crystal shared some important takeaways when it comes to using these copywriting tools well. You may also want to check out:
